The YMCA Myrniong site operates as a large, multi-purpose recreational and accommodation facility, with buildings spread across an open rural landscape. Ecologiq conducted detailed structural inspections of cabins, communal buildings and activity halls, assessing varied roof types ranging from lightweight timber structures to large-span metal roofs exposed to rural wind conditions.
Electrical assessments reviewed the distribution of loads across accommodation blocks, dining facilities, activity zones, administration areas and essential services such as emergency lighting and water systems. Integration pathways were designed to ensure the solar system supported daytime operational peaks without impacting overnight accommodation needs.
