Veolia Tomago & Corio.

Veolia sites operate as a high-intensity industrial facility with continuous plant loads, heavy mechanical equipment and variable demand driven by pumping, processing and materials-handling systems. Ecologiq conducted several engineering assessments to identify the best practical solutions.

A detailed structural inspection of wide-span steel sheds and process buildings, assessing load paths and uplift behaviour influenced by open industrial surroundings. Electrical assessments focused on aligning the solar and battery solution with Veolia’s operational profile including high-starting-current equipment, long feeder runs and load clusters with strict uptime requirements.

The battery component required additional engineering, including- peak-shaving and load-levelling modelling and system redundancy planning for operational resilience.

Through site-specific engineering, modelling and certified reports, Ecologiq delivered a fully integrated renewable design that supports Veolia’s sustainability objectives while respecting the operational realities of a major industrial facility.
