Contemporary Art Precinct.

The CAP Collingwood campus operates within a repurposed industrial building adapted for contemporary art production and exhibition. Ecologiq engineers assessed existing roof structures that had undergone multiple historical modifications, ensuring solar integration respected both structural limits and architectural intent.

Electrical engineering focused on high-quality power delivery for gallery lighting, event spaces and creative studios, where voltage stability and circuit segregation were critical. A bespoke PVDB was designed and manufactured to manage solar integration cleanly within constrained electrical rooms typical of adaptive-reuse buildings.

Through careful engineering and custom equipment design, Ecologiq enabled a compliant renewable upgrade that supports the precinct’s creative use while preserving its industrial heritage. objectives while respecting the operational realities of a major industrial facility.
