Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries.
Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (SMCT) operates a network of sensitive public facilities where operational continuity, safety and aesthetic consideration are paramount. Ecologiq conducted detailed structural inspections across buildings ranging from heritage-styled chapels to high-capacity warehouses and maintenance depots.
Our scope included pallet-loading assessments and certification, ensuring roof structures supporting solar arrays could also sustain operational storage loads safely and compliantly.
Electrical evaluations addressed refrigeration systems, chapel AV infrastructure, climate-control units and extensive after-hours lighting circuits. Solar integration pathways were developed to avoid disruptions to ceremonies, visitor access and facility dependencies.
Mounting design, cable routing and inverter placement were strategically planned to maintain the serene visual character of SMCT’s precincts while ensuring long-term system stability.
