GVH Aged Care.
GVH Aged Care operates within an older regional health precinct, where building design, resident safety and uninterrupted services are critical.
Ecologiq’s engineers conducted detailed on-site inspections, assessing the condition and loading capacity of roof structures across different facilities. Special attention was given to areas above resident rooms, treatment spaces and nursing stations to ensure fixings avoided sensitive ceiling cavities and mechanical services.
Electrical evaluations mapped the facility’s essential-care circuits, kitchen demands, HVAC reliance and back-up systems. Integration points were selected to maintain stability across life-safety loads and avoid any interference with daily clinical operations.
Routing of cabling and inverter placement was planned to avoid resident areas, minimise noise impact, and maintain accessibility for maintenance staff.
