Norstar Recycling.
Norstar Recycling operates some of Victoria’s most active metal-processing and resource-recovery facilities, each with distinct operational footprints and demanding electrical environments. Ecologiq was engaged to deliver EPC and engineering services across the Bayswater, Reservoir and Dandenong sites, supporting Norstar’s transition towards cleaner and more efficient operations.
The engineering scope required detailed analysis of industrial roof structures, many of which incorporate wide-span steel frames, ageing cladding and high uplift zones created by open-sided processing areas. Electrical assessments addressed complex switchboard arrangements, fluctuating load behaviours from shredders, conveyors and heavy processing equipment and the need to design safe feed in positions without disrupting production.
Our grid connection modelling accounted for high fault levels and export sensitivities typical of industrial sites, ensuring all submissions were technically complete and accepted without delays.
